Poker Face; the evolution of the ‘Winners and Losers’ project. Turns out, without money involved, nobody cared about the outcome. This time at the ‘Concrete and Glass’ festival, visitors to the exhibition had to pay to play! ‘Subject’s’ are invited to buy a self portrait. The subject can pay any amount for their own portrait, starting from one penny. The subject and photographer then cut a deck of cards and the portrait documents the subject as the result is revealed. If the photographer wins the money stays with the photographer, if the subject wins they win a free portrait.
